The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Krishnyl Decoy, who emerged as 
FIRST PLACE in the Student Category of the 1st Camp John Hay Tour Guiding Competition!
Held in celebration of Tourism Month, the competition brought together student and professional tour guides who showcased their destination knowledge, communication skills, creativity, confidence, and storytelling abilities as they mapped out the history, attractions, and magic of Camp John Hay.
With her passion for tourism and remarkable ability to bring a destination to life through storytelling, Krishnyl rose to the top of the competition and brought home the championship for CHTM! 
Behind this achievement is the guidance and mentorship of Ms. Maria Christina Mirasol, a faculty member of CHTM, who coached and prepared Krishnyl for the competition.
For CHTM, this achievement is more than a competition win. It is a reflection of our commitment to excellence in hospitality and tourism educationโequipping our students with the knowledge, confidence, creativity, and industry-ready skills needed to become the next generation of tourism professionals and destination storytellers.
