The College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) of the University of the Cordilleras proudly participated in the “Chicken in a Basket Cook-Off Season 2,” held on July 4, 2026 at the historic Bell Amphitheater, Camp John Hay, in celebration of Fil-Am Friendship Day.
The competition brought together talented culinary teams from various institutions and industry partners, challenging participants to present innovative and flavorful interpretations of one of the Philippines’ most beloved ingredientsโchicken. Through creativity, teamwork, culinary skills, and professionalism, our CHTM students proudly represented the University of the Cordilleras in demonstrating the knowledge and competencies they have developed in the field of hospitality and culinary arts.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all participating teams and to the event organizers for successfully promoting culinary innovation while celebrating the enduring friendship between the Philippines and the United States.
