UC CHTM Turns Over Gold-Winning Marketing Collaterals to Kabayan Tourism Office During Adiway Festival

UC CHTM proudly handed over gold-winning marketing collaterals to the Municipality of Kabayan during the Adiway Festival held on November 23, 2024. The turnover ceremony took place at the Kabayan booth, marking a significant milestone in UC’s commitment to sustainable tourism development and cultural preservation.

The marketing materials, including an Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) and other promotional assets, were created as part of the Travel and Tour Competition during the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Week 2024 organized by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio. The Marketing Collaterals, a collaborative effort led by Mr. Cedrick Wigan Dominong, Ms. Christia May Reyes, and event assistants from THM 115, under the expert guidance of Ms. Yvonne Aragon and Ms. Rose Beronilla, earned the top prize in the competition, showcasing the unparalleled beauty and cultural richness of Kabayan, Benguet.

Hon. Florante B. Bantales Jr., Mayor of Kabayan, expressed gratitude for the materials, emphasizing their importance in promoting Kabayan’s tourism potential while fostering cultural and ecological sensitivity. “Through this endeavor, we aim to support Kabayan’s tourism activities by contributing materials that highlight its unique cultural and natural attractions. This is part of our broader advocacy to preserve heritage while promoting sustainable development,” shared Dean Balinte during the turnover. Academic Dean Ms. Michelle Balinte, BSTM Program Chair Ms. Maria Cristina Mirasol, and Mr. Jessie Gaspar Jr. also joined the turnover, further underscoring UC’s support for Kabayan’s tourism initiatives.

The Adiway Festival provided the perfect backdrop for this meaningful exchange, celebrating the vibrant heritage of the Cordillera region. The marketing collaterals are expected to boost the Municipality of Kabayan’s efforts in creating a sustainable and culturally enriched tourism landscape. UC CHTM’s participation reaffirms its dedication to academic excellence and impactful community partnerships.
