Faculty members and staff completed the Faculty Innovation Hub for Teaching, Learning, and Research, a month-long faculty development initiative under the Fulbright Specialist Program. As part of the grant, UC hosted Fulbright Specialist Dr. Thomas J. Tobin from February 1 to 27, 2026, for an intensive professional engagement focused on advancing inclusive and future-ready teaching practices.

The engagement delivered a series of faculty workshops, leadership sessions, and focused group discussions with key academic units. It also featured university-wide forums, a Fulbright Roadshow, and fourteen capstone presentations. The initiative produced over 40 new academic resources, now fully integrated into UCโ€™s Learning Management System.

Centered on Universal Design for Learning, the program strengthened inclusive and future-ready teaching practices across UCโ€™s academic community. The initiative positions UC to institutionalize academic innovation through its Institute for Teaching and Learning, expand its pedagogy-focused research agenda, and sustain international mentorship.
