Students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management proudly earned 2 gold medals, 15 silver medals, 8 diploma awards, and 3 pageant titles during the 18th Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Month organized by the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio. The event was held from September 30 to October 11, 2025 at the Baguio Country Club and brought together some of the most competitive and talented hospitality students in the region.
Throughout the competition, the CHTM delegation showcased remarkable skill in authentic regional cuisine, pastry creation, cocktail and mocktail development, tea beverages, artistic table setup, event planning, and bell service operations. Their outstanding performance in travel and tour operations further demonstrated their readiness for the diverse demands of the hospitality and tourism industry.
More than the medals and titles, the competition provided invaluable hands-on experience for CHTM students. It allowed them to transform classroom concepts into practical applications and to grow in confidence, creativity, and professionalism. Their achievements reflect the strong foundation of training and holistic education that the University of the Cordilleras continues to uphold.
