As future hospitality and tourism professionals, our CHTM students actively immersed in the festival’s opening activities, gaining firsthand experience in event management, cultural celebrations, and tourism operations. From assisting in guest reception, logistics, and festival coordination to engaging with locals and tourists, our students were at the heart of the Panagbenga experience!
Highlights of the Opening Day Immersion:
Witnessing the Grand Opening Parade – A spectacular display of colors, music, and artistry showcasing the region’s rich culture.
Hands-on Event Participation – Assisting in crowd management, guest relations, and event operations.
Cultural Appreciation – Learning about the history and significance of Panagbenga as a tourism and cultural event.
Engaging with Tourists and Stakeholders – Enhancing communication and hospitality skills while interacting with visitors.
