UC CHTM Adopts Blended Learning Model for Enhanced Flexibility and Practical Engagement

UC CHTM has adopted a flexible blended learning model for the 2023–2024 academic year.

In line with the university’s policy, lecture classes alternate weekly between face-to-face sessions and online distance learning through the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), providing a balanced mix of in-person and virtual instruction.

Laboratory classes follow a distinct schedule to support hands-on learning. The first three weeks of each trimester are conducted online, giving students a chance to build foundational knowledge before transitioning to face-to-face sessions for the remainder of the term. This phased approach enables students to be well-prepared for demonstrations and practical exercises, enhancing the overall laboratory experience.

Furthermore, these teaching-learning modality promotes remote working for faculty members and offers condensed working week to reduce faculty and student commuting.
